Winter is such a romantic season for a wedding. Grounds covered with pure white snow, the potent red color of holly berries and poinsettias mixed with festive gold and silver make for a perfect palette.  Although winter weddings can be very beautiful, they also have their risks. Remember, weather is a huge factor for not only you but also your wedding guests and vendors. The potential threat of a snow storm may occur on the day of your wedding so you need to be prepared. Cold temperatures are one thing, but snow and ice may be an issue for your wedding vendors, the venue staff, and wedding guests. You do not want to put others at harm because of your wedding.

If you’re having a winter wedding, we encourage you think about wedding insurance. Winter months have the most risk causing road closures and power outages. Should these occur on your wedding day, your wedding will sure be memorable but may not be able to take place! Wedding insurance can save you money because most insurance policies cover the rescheduling of the wedding and many details involved such as wedding flowers, reception food, reception site and more. Insurance policies are affordable depending on the amount of coverage you require. Talk to an insurance agent to find the best possible coverage and policy that suits your needs for your wedding. Before buying supplemental insurance coverage for each vendors, consider going over their coverage first. It is best to see how much coverage they have before buying additional plans for your policy. With a bit of cautious planning, your winter wedding can be beautiful!
